Thx for the reply.
Could you please elaborate?
I very much dislike not being able to select a priority when adding a completely new skill to my plan, or increasing the level to which I am planning a skill.
Priority is something that non-existent alone, aside from plan. Only when skill is in plan, it's priority gets a meaning.
Skill level you set when you right-click skill - Plan to... choose your desired level.
I know you can select the level. I'm talking priority, not level.
I want to select the priority I desire to assign it as I add the skill, or skill level, to the plan. The way it worked before, i.e., getting a warning message if you were assigning too low a priority based on prerequisites and what was already in the plan, was fine.
Sorry, but i'm failig to see what you are trying to say. When you first add a skill to plan, it being added with a default priority of 3 or with lowest possible priority of all the prerequisites. (I.e., if you have otion Prediction V at 3, Medium Blaster Specialization IV at 5, Hybrid Turret V at priority 6, then adding Large Blaster Specialization I will put it at 6)
And when you change (increase) planned skill level, it will be set no higher than priority of highest already planned skill level. (Or set at default 3, if you don't have any levels of that skill planned)
True. And as you add it, you may have no idea which of the scenarios you describe it might fall into, Tonto. Right? Therefore, you have no for sure value of what priority EVEMon decided to automatically assign it, nor where it is going to be put in the plan -- since it could be very likely that you didn't know the priorities of ALL or any of the prerequisites. All you have is a "rule of thumb" of what priority it
might have been assigned, which may help you determine where it ended up in the plan. Still, I've found it is a lot of looking around for me.
You can't remove lower skill level directly, if higher skill planned, or any other planned skills depends on this level. But you can reduce the number of levels planned. Even to zero. As Jimi said, "Change planned level..." will do that for you.
I preferred the delete with a warning.
And regarding your "can I find the newly added skill" - new skills always add to the end of list.
Could be I'm just an idiot. It seemed simple, clean and user-friendly before. Now it all seems laborious and more complex.
Maybe it is that I have quite a few skills in my plan. It's rather more difficult to use a rule of thumb as to where the training might have been added if one is going to deal with 305 entries (as I have atm) to search for it, rather than just 50-100 or so.
Thx!
