I had more of a question / suggestion.

Is there a way when creating a new training schedule that it can give you the option of adding the Certificates of the ship you choose?

Like if I choose a ship and hit Add to Plan, it will come up and say "Do you want to add certificates to training as well?" then i just click yes or no.

If i have you confused when you look at a ship info. in game it has suggested Certificates to have to fly that ship, i want it to be able to add those when i select a ship in Evemon.

Logged this as #1173.

In like the idea in principal, I don't think a popup would be great, but perhaps a button next to the Add To Plan button to do the same.

The third reply on this thread has a bug where he added certs and thay didn't get applied to his plan. I found that bug and reproduced it.

TLDR version: the certificate planner is holding on to the plan that was opened when the window was opened and only editing that plan regardless of what plan is open for viewing/editing on the other tabs of the windows.

The long version (my whole step by step discovery and reproduction):
From main Form: Plans->Thermodynamics  (this is the first plan on my list, it has one skill in it, this action launches the Skill Planner Form)

"Select Plan"->"<New Plan>"
name it "1 Day of Certs"
this returns me to the Skill Planenr Form with the "Skill Browser" tab open.
I click the "Certificates browser" tab (The 'b' in browser is lowercase, this is a seperate bug)
set filter to "All"
set sort to "Time to next level"
first thing listed is "Core Capacitor" with "(none)" in the sort column (it is already claimed at Elite, should it even be listed here?)
second thing on the list is "Logistics Chief" with "2h,2m,28s" in the sort column.
I right click it and select "Basic"

On the right click action the right side of the screen changed to show information about the cert. As best I can tell all of this information is accurate.
On selecting "Basic" the context menu dissappears (good)
The text above the requirements area changes to "After this plan you will be eligible to: Basic (improved from none)"
The drop down to the right of this does not change, still says "Plan to..."
The status bar at teh bottom of the window still says "0 Skills Planned (0 Unique Skills). Total training time: (none)"
If I right click on it again, "Basic" is greyed out and non-functional.
If I click on the "Plan to..." drop dowwn, "Basic" is grayed out and non-functional.

I repeat the process of right clicking and selecting basic with the next 3 skills:
"Target Painter Operator"
"Sensor Dampener Operator"
"Tracking Disruptor Operator"
All have the same result.

If I left click on one that I have done this with, its information still shows "After this plan you will be eligible to: Basic (improved from none)" however the status bar is still unchanged.

If I click on the "Plan Queue" tab it confirms that no skills have been added.

I Go back to the "Certificate browser" and right click on "Logistics Chief" and set it to "Standard", the only thing that changes is the "elegible to:" field becomes "Standard"
I use the drop down to change it to "Elite" and I get the same results.
.....
I close the "Skill Planner" form.
From main form "Plans"->"1 Day of Certs"
I am brought to the "Skill Browser" tab of the "Skill Planner" form
I click the "Certificates browser" tab
set filter to "All"
set sort to "Time to next level"
click "Logistics Chief"

The "elegible to:" field has been reset to "(none)"
I right click and choose basic: it works as intended.

"Select Plan"->"<New Plan>" name it "anothercertplan"
choose "Certificates Browser" tab
my filter and sort has been persisted.
Right click on "Logistics Chief" and find that it is still listed as planned even though I am on a new, empty plan

"Select Plan"->"Thermodynamics" all the cert skills I had tried to add to "1 Day of Certs" had been added to "Thermodynamics"
Go to "certificate browser" tab, scroll to bottom right click "Elite Drone Operator"->"Add to plan"->"Elite"
nothing changes on the thermodynamics plan

"Select Plan"->"1 Day of Certs" ti has all 166 days of the "Elite Drone Operator" cert.

Hello Trabber and thank you very much for this detailed report. o/

List of bugs I could confirm :
* After a cert grade has been planned, the status bar is not updated.
* Completed certificates should not appear on the list when sorting is set to "time to next level"
* And, by the way, it should be "time to next grade"

List of bugs I could not reproduce (did you use the most recent version ? rev 1381 currently - I think those bugs have been previously reported and corrected since then) :
* All the skills are correctly added to the plan queue, whatever grade I plan. I started with a fresh new plan and the first certs at the top of the list (with the "time to next level" sort option), planning them to basic grade as you did, including Logistics Chief.
* Same goes when replanning to another grade, all skills are correctly added.
* When switching plans, planning certs cause the skills to be added to the currently selected plan, not the one opened on the window creation.

Things that are not bug (I had the feeling you considered them as such, I may be wrong though) :
* After you planned a new grade, the "Plan to..." dropdown's label has no reason to change.
* The disabled menu items are the ones for the grades already planned, it works just as the skills' context menu.
* When switching plans, filter and sort options ought to be left unchanged. Those are global settings, not per-plan ones.

Trac is currently unavailable so I will log those bugs later. regarding the bugs I could not reproduce, would you accept by chance to retest them with the latest snapshot binaries and confirm they don't occur anymore ?

oops, I was using an old build when I did that use case.

I was not thinking of those last 3 as bugs.

I will gladly retest this, soon.

Your list missed one of the bugs, the "Certificates browser" tab is the only tab with a word that is not capitalized.
Nevermind, that has changed in the new release.
