- Go to http://www.eveonline.com/character/skilltree.asp
Right, that's the EVE website, you need to log in with proper account, which your subjected character belong to.
If you don't see your character, logout from forum (Yup, these are bound together). - Click your character face.
- Look for the "API" box (3rd or 4th box on the page).
- Folow the link to the API Key Management pages. Do not click anything there. PLEASE!
- In the EVEmon, right-click the Throbber (that sectored circle thingy top-right of the character page)
- Select "Change API key information".
- Copy and paste User ID and API Key from EVE page to the EVEmon. (Usually, the User ID in EVEmon should match the one you see on EVE page, so only API Key should matter)
- Click "Ok", then tap the throbber to refresh the data.
- Close the EVE page. Yet again, PLEASE do not click anything there.
