passive tanked ishtar= beast (solo lvl 5 capable)
passive tanked onyx= beast
passive tanked drake (duhh)= beast
passive tanked nighthawk= beast (solo lvl 5 capable)

so there are some ships that make better passive shield tankers then active tanked ships... not many but they exsist.

i to can get pissed when some newer palyer get's flamed because he made a passive raven (they can work very well if fitted good), or some other normally active tanked ship, we all where new to eve at 1 point and no one knew how to fit a ship from the beginning. i try to give comments on how to improve in a normal way, but not...  you stupid ùµ^^$$^^ go back to wow and bla bla bla. not very constructive and they won't return to BC for advice, which is a shame really, i rather fight a guy who knows what he's doing then some "noob" who got in a raven to soon and fit's it badly..

but that's my opinion  :)

Reading and looking at the loadouts before you post work better than just assuming something will run passive.
fitting a BS poorly because you don't have the skills to fly one is a bad excuse on any part of this game.

A passive tanked abbadon can have 600 defense efficiency. Congratulations.

Now fit it like it was designed and easily get at least 900 and, oh yeah, keep enough cap recharge for those lasers.

Maybe I'm just silly for basing fits on the bonuses a ship gets.

No, you're wrong. Passive shield tanking is the best. Everybody should passively shield tank, especially the titans.
