Hey all,

After testing out a Minmatar character yesterday, I've decided I like my Amarr and am going to stick it out with him.

So I come bearing a 2nd question...

As of today, I can use any Amarr Cruiser and want to know which one I should go for?

The way I see it, the Omen is outclassed by the Maller in every way except for 3. Firstly, the Omen can use drones, Secondly, the Omen is faster, and thirdly, the Omen looks SOOOO much better than the Maller.

Unfortunately, the Maller looks like a powerhouse in all other aspects. Better Armor, Better Shields, more Slots, higher power-grid, etc.

Anyone able to tell me which is the better over-all performer?

which do you prefer damage or tank?

Hmm, indeed I should have mentioned the finer points.

At the moment, my character is set up for dealing damage, and really, that is my long-term goal. I'm not really interested in tanking, preferring instead to take things out of existence with great huge blasts of Las-fire.

Does that mean the Omen will be my best bet? I know that it's special abilities relate a bit more towards damage, with the 5% increased Medium Turret damage. But since it is outclassed in almost every other way by the Maller, I'm not sure if there is going to be a huge difference between taking an Omen with more damage capacity that way, or taking a Maller with an extra slot that I can use for a Weapon Upgrade.
