I was approached by my son one day. He asked "Father please teach me Patience, as it is the greatest of all virtues" Too busy to be bothered with his inane prattle, I picked up a peice of copper wire from my work bench, and balled it as tightly as I could.
"When you bring me this wire again, it should be perfectly straight. Then I will teach you Patience."
Many days later he actually came back, and to my surprise, the wire was perfectly straight. But, again I was busy with my work. I took the wire, looked at it breifly, and balled it once again as tightly as I could.
"Do it again" I said.
