The only gold tank I own is the little German PzKpfw 38H735 (f) and it kills everything on the map at that tier level. It's a beast with it's armor. Almost like playing a heavy.
I keep a lower tier tank just to stay sane. I have a Tiger, a VK3601H, Leopard, StuGIII, PzIII/IV and Marder. When those are getting crushed by ridiculous teams and match making thanks to the screwed up match making system they're using, I switch to the permanent top light, tier 2 and kill at will. Anything over tier 2 and you start getting into the match system where you fight 3 or 4 tiers higher than your dinky tank.
I just got it. I maybe have 10 matches in it and I have gotten Top Gun 3 times already.
Here's how I play it. Just guard the base, you will rake in the kills and wins as long as you have at least 1 or 2 other guys who aren't idiots on your team.
As far as Lowes go, I don't fear them at all because usually the dudes playing them can't play and run that huge target right out into the open like morons. I've killed one in my PzIII/IV so there you go.
KV-5s on the other hand have better armor and if you're not paying attention it looks exactly like a regular KV from far away. I've made the mistake of thinking it was a KV or KV-3 and got wasted a couple times. I normally don't engage it when I know what it is unless I'm in the Tiger then like all other Allies I shoot it in the Hull and I always try to get the side.
Type 59 seems to be cool. It's not as tough as everyone thinks but it is decent.
I have a question. Let's say you lose a match in that KV5 and you really didn't do a lot of damage what kind of bill is it to repair and resupply it? This is how I rate tanks. I keep the Marder and the III/IV because even if I don't touch the keyboard in a fight I don't lose anything, I make credits. What's that KV5 like in that department?
